Like many Latinos, Derek stays close to his family of cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Derek grew up in west Texas. Like many others in the area, Derek’s family was poor. Derek knows firsthand the struggle families face to find good jobs. That is why he uses his success in business to invest in our community.
